Penn Waste Trash Collection Notice for June 24th through June 26th
Due to the excessive heat forecasted for June 24th through June 26th, Penn Waste Operations will utilize an early start and begin routes 1 hour before their normal start time to complete service routes before the hottest parts of the day.
In order to ensure collection, it is recommended that material is placed curbside the night before residents’ regular collection day. The service route time adjustment is for the safety of Penn Waste crews.
Early next week, York Township will evaluate the projected temperatures and a need for an early start on June 27th.
Penn Waste will communicate with residents via email, a message on their website, phone messages, and social media.
York Township will also post updates on our website and through social media.
