Hess Farm Road Bridge to be Closed for Repairs in York County

Bridge spans East Branch of Codorus Creek at Lake Redman

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Hess Farm Road (Route 2068) bridge spanning the East Branch of Codorus Creek at Lake Redman between Springfield and York townships, York County, is scheduled to be closed for a rehabilitation project.

Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed Monday, March 31, for up to 90 days so a contractor can perform milling, deck repairs, overlay, joint repairs and approach work.

Hess Farm Road will be closed between Sparton Road and Lake Road. A detour will be in place using Iron Stonehill Road (Route 2087), Leader Heights Road (Route 182) and Route 3001 (George Street/Susquehanna Trail/ Main Street).

An updated press release will be issued when the bridge opens.
